Innovative Structure and Vibration Control Technology Laboratory
Laboratory Supervisor: Jer-Fu Wang, Assistant Professor & Chung-Sheng Lee, Assistant Professor
Laboratory Number: A1-523
Laboratory Floor Level: 5F
This lab is set up with this department’s only small-scale experimental vibration platform that can simulate seismic motion, a vibration sensor, a test house and bridge structure model, and a 3D printer. Research topics include the following two major themes:
- Assistant Professor Jhe-Fu Wang leads the research team in researching and developing smart structure technologies for earthquake disaster prevention, with a primary focus on researching structural health monitoring and developing structural vibration control technology; and
- Assistant Professor Cung-Sheng Lee leads the research team in developing innovative structural systems and researching numerical simulations, with a focus on researching the design of shock-resistant composite materials and developing their numerical simulation technologies.
