The service team of the center is mainly composed of teachers and students of the Department of Civil and Disaster Prevention Engineering. The department was established in August 1990. There are currently 10 full-time teachers, 5 part-time teachers, 9 inspection engineers, and 4 classes of students, including full-time teachers. There are 4 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, and 4 Assistant Professors. Among them, 7 have doctoral degrees and many have certificates of civil engineer, structural technician, and environmental engineering technician. In the future, we are still planning to hire more teachers.

The department has Institute the Engineering Education Taiwan (IEET) and the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) certification. Two professors and eight technicians have participated in the training of CNLA and TAF related courses. Two of them have obtained the certificate issued by the Chinese National Laboratory Accreditation (CNLA) to the person in charge of the CNLA test laboratory, three of them have obtained the certificate issued by the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) to the person in charge of the TAF test laboratory, are responsible for the TAF certification and maintenance of the laboratory of the department, so that the test report of the department is more credible.
